First, keep the bearing and its surroundings clean

Even tiny dust that is invisible to the naked eye enters the bearing, which will increase bearing wear, vibration and noise. Bearings and their peripheral accessories should be kept clean, especially dust and dirt, tools and the environment must also be kept clean.

Second, precautions when using installation

Strong punching is not allowed. It is not allowed to strike the bearing directly with a hammer. It is not allowed to transmit pressure through rolling elements.

Use appropriate and accurate installation tools

Use special tools whenever possible, and try to avoid using cloths and short fibers.

Fourth, to prevent bearing corrosion

When holding the bearing directly with your hands, you should fully wash the sweat from your hands and apply high-quality mineral oil before operating. Pay special attention to rust prevention in the rainy season and summer. However, under certain special operating conditions, the bearing can obtain a longer life than traditional calculations, especially under light loads. These special operating conditions are when the rolling surface is effectively segmented by a lubricating oil film and the surface damage caused by the contaminants is limited. In fact, so-called permanent bearing life is possible under ideal conditions.
